Paradise! - Divine Lee

It’s not a usual thing to have this much artists that cut across multiple genres in one music festival. But that’s what Paradise IMF promises to deliver. The promise, to take you back on a journey into what a Music Festival really is. Unlike the past festivals that were either Indie, EDM or Hip-Hop specific. Paradise cuts across all into one.

Paradise as a music festival began with the announcement of Kanye West. All the Kanye fans were astounded by the fact Yeezus himself confirmed it the same date as his new album release.

The road to Paradise did not end there. Paradise opened its music to eventually release Pop sensation Austine Mahone, EDM hit Afrojack and Rudimental as their Old School Jungle/ Drum and Bass.

AUSTIN MAHONE

A singer/songwriter poised for stardom. Not only did Austin recently win the MTV Video Music Award for “Artist to Watch,” but his hit single “What About Love” has gained nearly 40 million views on YouTube and can be heard on top radio stations around the nation. Austin is currently touring on Taylor Swift’s RED Tour! Austin was one of a select few presenters at this year’s Billboard Music Awards where he presented “Best EDM Artist” alongside singer Kelly Rowland as well as opened at the 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards where he took home his first RDM award for the “Ultimate Breakout Star — Biggest Viral Artist.”

AFROJACK

Grammy award winning DJ and producer. He is one of the most influential names in electronic dance music today. At only 27, he has played a large role in the worldwide explosion and popularity of dance music with The Hollywood Reporter calling him “a global icon” set “to conquer the world” and in 2014 Forbes placing him at #6 on its annual list of ‘The World’s Highest Paid DJs.’

A talented producer and artist Afrojack is versatile and creative with his sound whether creating club hits or producing and remixing for the likes of Beyoncé, Pitbull or Madonna. He is adept at shifting between genres and playing with his sound.

RUDIMENTAL

In 2015, the band returned with another No.1 smash, We The Generation. From the gospel-tinged I Will For Love, to the reggae-meets-drum’n’bass sparkle of Love Ain’t Just A Word, to the soulful balladry of Platinum selling, Ed Sheeran collaboration Bloodstream and Lay It All On Me, the album represents the essence of this multi-cultural, multi-genre collective; love, peace and unity. Now established as one of the UK’s biggest acts with platinum record sales, a BRIT award for their single ‘Waiting All Night’ and a sell out tour.

Paradise graciously added The Airplane Boys as Hip-Hop addition along with girl group sensation 4 Impact. They will not only impress the festival goers with an amazing show but will express their Filipino pride on stage.

THE AIRPLANE BOYS

From Toronto, Canada, APB brings a unique energy and excitement to the stage with their revolutionary sound. The duo of Beck Motley and Bon Voyage embody the essence of a new creative class and draw their inspiration from an eclectic range of sources.

Wiz Khalifa is also expected to reign stage-side with Yeezus. Despite their recent twitter war, Wiz and Yeezy will boost your inner “G” before the night ends.

A Manila-based festival wouldn’t be complete without your OPM artists.

From your favourite djs to amazing live bands, Paradise really does have much to offer. The one day international music festival will happen on April 9, 2016 at the Aseana Open Grounds, Parañaque City and is produced by the experienced Boardworks Media Entertainment. Tickets are being sold online and at your nearest ticketing service.
