I woke up the other day with tons of tweets about Steve Jobs’ passing. Hindi namin kami close ni Kuya, but I can’t help but shed a tear. Baka emotional lang ako or ewan ko ba. But naiyak nga ako.
I got out of the room and saw na hindi man kami close, he did touch my life. Nung magtetext ako, andyan yung iphone, tapos ipad ni V nakakalat, lappys and more. Timing pa when I opened the TV -Pixar movie. So hindi man kami close, wala man akong bbm pin nya (kasi i’m sure wala syang BB.. choz! Whats app nalang) … best in present naman sya sa buhay ko so technically… close narin kami kaya ako naiyak. I guess, in a way, that’s how i feel about all of you guys. Kaya ganun nalang ako ka saya when I meet you guys. This whole internet generation made us “close” to one another.
So bago ako lumuha ulit, my message for this is one pretty simple. You don’t need to to BE THERE for your presence to be felt, you don’t need the PHYSICAL touch in order to INSPIRE and last NO EXCUSES.
Why did I say no excuses? While researching about him. Inisip ko, paano ba magiging Steve Jobs? Kailngan ba maging perfect? I know a lot of us idolize people tapos sa totoo hindi natin iniisip na kaya natin marating… but trust me. Read up on him. WALANG IMPOSSIBLE. Born out of wedlock, put up on adoption, dropped out of college, iba iba pang ganap (check nyo dito) and of course his last challenge: Cancer. But all that didn’t stop him from excelling. Tao lang sya like us. But what he taught me is “bawal ang PALUSOT”. As human beings we tend to blame situations out of our control for OUR bad behavior, kahit ako ganun din minsan. Aminin na natin, i’m sure minsan ginagawa nyong drama ang mga ganap kaya kayo bad mood or walang gana magwork. But honestly, everything is under our control- because how you react to things is ABSOLUTELY YOUR DECISION. I hope from Pareng Steve matuto tayo na, walang sisishin and work ng bongga with what we have. We are all for only a short time, bonggahan na natin ang arrive. Like pareng Steve. 🙂
I really wanted to make this short-mga one paragraph pero best in kadaldalan talaga ako. Sad man ako sa pagkawala nya, I am very excited for the next chapter. I’m sure he inspired us all in one way or another. Walang palusot. Now, the world is waiting for the next Steve Jobs and I believe keri natin toh. He left a big BLANK .. kaya alam nyo na… FILL IN THE “BLANK”
Just the other day, I was asking V (kasi nga hindi ako techy d ba?) kung paano ba yung iCLOUD na yan kasi nasa banner ng apple site together when they launched the new phone. V explained that the idea is to be able to “check” all your files between your gadgets. D na uso ang transfer transfer thus the name na parang sa cloud sila nakastore na pwedeng accessible with all your techy gadgets. Then a few days after, pumunta na sa iHeaven si Pareng Steve. Kaya pala iCloud. Gusto nya ata siguraduhin machecheck nya parin tayo.
Ok last na talaga toh. Whatever techy reason he had with putting the “i” before the words of his products hindi ko alam, natry ko iresearch pero hindi ako maintindihan ni Google. But sakin it’s more than what “i” really stood for, it’s him pointing to you! It’s him teaching you to say “I” … teaching you to say that “I” can do it. Let your iEVERYTHING be a reminder of this. KERI NATIN TOH!
